Obituary for Manuel P. Rodrigues
Rodrigues, Manuel “Manny” Pimentel, resident of Cambridge for over 40 years, was born June 10, 1931 in Serreta, Terceira, Acores. He passed peacefully on December 17, 2019 at age 88. He was loyal, faithful, strong, courageous and a proud USA Citizen.
Devoted husband of Maria Nemesia (Vieira). Loving father of Antonio “Tony”, Luis “Louie”, Maria, Dina, Eddie. Loving father-in-law of Edimar and Laura. Proud grandfather of Anthony, Kyle, Sarah, Maximus “Max”, Ella, Christina, Lex, Mateo, Joshua, Elisa, Jasmyn “Jazzy”, and Jordyn. Proud great grandfather of Lily, Binyamin “Benny”, Zoe, Beruriah “Bee”.
Proceeded by his parents Manuel Pimentel and Maria da Conceicao. Dear brother of Noemia and proceeded by Maria, Evelina, Jose, Ernesto, Palmira, Albina, Luis, and Antonio. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, other loving relatives, and friends.
He is very loved and will be deeply missed. Our hero…amazing example of a strong work ethic, perseverance “Never Quit”.

Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave, NORTH CAMBRIDGE. Viewing Sunday, December 22, 2019 from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Funeral and Mass on Monday, December 23, 2019 at St. Anthony’s Church, 400 Cardinal Medeiros Avenue, Cambridge at 11:00 am, with viewing starting 10:00 am at funeral home. Burial to follow held at Cambridge Cemetery.
