Leahy. The loving wife of the late Chester F. Warner (II), they were married for 65 years. Loving mother

Beloved grandmother of twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, and seven great-great
grandchildren.

Cherished aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Dear sister of the late Francis X. Leahy, the late Marguerita M. Matthews, and the late William A. Leahy.
Mary was born in Somerville, on May 9, 1920. A lifelong resident, Mary worked as a telephone operator
for AT&T “downtown,” in Boston for many years. An avid traveller, and enthusiast of history and the arts,
Mary especially enjoyed painting, and was a longtime student of the latter; Known as a dedicated Shopper
of Filene’s Basement, Mary also loved field trips with family and friends. Upon inquiring on any subject,
her grandchildren would be told, “Ask Nana, she knows about everything.” Mary’s bright smile and upbeat
spirit will be missed by many.

The family of Mary wish to acknowledge, especially, her loving and dedicated caregivers.
