HUNT, Maureen M. (Malvey) 88, of Arlington, MA, formerly of Bergenfield, NJ, passed peacefully at home on December 3, 2019. Loving mother of Christine of Arlington, MA, James (Sviatlana) of New York, NY, John (Janeen) of Long Beach, CA, and the late Thomas. Proud grandmother of Andrew, Aisling, Veronika, James Jr., and Andreas. Dear sister of James and Edward Malvey (Judy). She is also survived by her many loving relatives, friends, and neighbors. Maureen was predeceased by her mother, Mary "Mollie" Malvey (Delahanty), of Graiguenamanagh, County Kilkenny, Ireland, and her father, James Malvey, of Ardgroom, Castletown-Bearhaven, County Cork, Ireland. Maureen was born in New York, NY and grew up in the Highbridge section of The Bronx. She worked as a dispatcher for over 25 years for the Bergenfield Police Department in New Jersey. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated on January 25, 2020 at 1PM in St. John the Evangelist Church, 29 North Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ. A reception will follow at Tommy Fox's Public House, 32 South Washington Ave, Bergenfield, NJ. memorial donations may be made in Maureen's memory to the Cure Alzheimer’s Fund.
