Obituary for Susan E. Higgins (Labo)

HIGGINS, Susan E. (Labo), of Billerica, formerly of Cambridge and Marshfield, passed peacefully with her loving family by her side on May 29, 2022, she was 65 years old. Beloved wife of 43 years to William T. Higgins of Billerica. Loving mother of Christopher Higgins of Andover, Elizabeth Caressimo and her husband John of Norwood, and Andrew Higgins, USMC Retired of Billerica. Devoted ‘Nana’ to her two little loves Evan and Benny Caressimo. Dear sister of Fred Labo and his wife Mary of FL, William Labo of Plymouth, Vincent Labo and his wife Jennifer of Marshfield. Cherished sister in law of Cammy Fournier of Woburn, Brenda Higgins of Lowell, and the late Thomas Higgins. Devoted daughter of the late Joseph Labo and Elizabeth (Conant), and cherished daughter in law of the late Francis Higgins and Carmella (Mazza). Susan is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, relatives and dear friends. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours at the Sweeney Memorial Funeral Home, 66 Concord Rd., Billerica on June 5, 2022 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Her Funeral Mass will be held at St. Matthew the Evangelist Parish in St. Theresa Church, 466 Boston Rd., Billerica at 10 a.m. on June 6, 2022. Interment will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Susan’s Family would like to express their appreciation to the Doctors, nurses, and staff on Blake 7 MICU and Lunder 9 at Mass General Hospital, and Winchester Hospital ICU for the kindness and loving care they administered to Susan and their family.
