Obituary for Timothy G. McCabe

McCabe, Timothy G., of Medford, passed away peacefully on January 21, 2024. Beloved son of the late Francis “Bud” McCabe and Mary Anne McCabe (Sullivan). Loving husband of the late Nancy McCabe (Rosen).

Tim was the blessed father of Andrea (Emily) of Sarasota, FL, Timothy R. (Adrianna) of San Marcos, TX, Liam of Waltham, Aidan and Anna of Medford.

Cherished “Papa” of Declan, Ryleigh, Bodhi and Remi-Rose McCabe.

Dear brother of Ginny McCabe of Medford, Michael (Sandra) McCabe of Skowhegan, Maine, Geri McCabe of Kennebunk, Maine, Bill (Berta) McCabe of Stoneham, and Dennis (Donna) McCabe of Naples, FL.

Tim is also survived by Karla Vick, former wife, and many loving nieces, nephews, grandnieces grandnephews, cousins, Rosen Family members, and many dear friends. For Bill W. and the fellowship, thank you for supporting Tim’s journey.

Tim was a proud graduate of Matignon High School, class of 1977, and an honored member of Coach Marty Pierce’s famous Championship Hockey Teams. Upon graduation, he enlisted in the Navy; trained at the Great Lakes and served proudly as a Corpsman. Receiving his Associate Degree from Middlesex Community College, Tim spent most of his career working in Human Services with a specialty in Addictions Counseling.

In his spare time, Tim enjoyed the beach and fishing with family and friends. He was an avid sports’ fan (especially the Bruins) and “anything” hockey related.

Always, he remained a PROUD Navy Veteran.
