Obituary for Vaughn A. Crayton
Crayton, Vaughn A., of Leominster, formerly of Cambridge. Passed peacefully on May 19,at the age of 73, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Kat (Cheryl Gedziun) Crayton, loving father of Stephanie and Shane Crayton and Devoted “Grampie” of Kiernan Crayton Dillon.
Dear brother of Therese Crayton-Ackley of Wells, ME, and the late Anthony, Sheryl, and Diane. Brother-in-law of Cindy and Larry Green and Donna Gamblin. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Former husband of Anita (Wilson) Crayton.
Vaughn was a Vietnam Army Veteran and a faithful MIT employee for the past 34 years.
Longtime dedicated coach, mentor, and friend to the youth of Leominster and Cambridge.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, May 28th from 4pm-7pm at the Keefe Funeral Home 2175 Massachusetts Avenue, in Cambridge. Military Honors presentation will conclude at 7PM. A celebration of life is being planned for a later date in Leominster, MA.
In Vaughn’s memory, memorial contributions may be made to Vietnam Veteran Memorial Fund.
