McDONOUGH, Virginia M. (Richardson), of Somerville, passed peacefully on May 4, 2022, at the age of 91. Beloved wife of 55 years to the late Walter R. McDonough. Loving mother of Michael McDonough and his wife Andrea of Maine and Delray, FL, Jean Kelley and her husband Thomas of Melrose, John McDonough and his wife Margie of Cambridge, Robert McDonough and his wife Anne Marie of Melrose, Ellen Douglass and her husband Christopher of Methuen, and Timothy McDonough and his wife Rita of Tewksbury. Dear sister of the late Doris Martin, and John and William Richardson. Proud Nana of 13 grandchildren; Matthew, Jillian and Kristy, Michael and Mathew, Scott and Jason, Thomas, Lauren and Stefani, and Patrick, Stephen, and Joseph. Great grandmother of six; Paeton, Sophia and Sawyer, Kaylee and Colin, and Callie. Virginia is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visiting Hours will be held in St. Catherine’s Church, 185 Summer Street, Somerville on Wednesday from 10am-11:30am. Her funeral mass will follow in the Church at 12pm. Burial will be Private. Virginia's family wishes to express there gratitude and appreciation to the Nurses and Staff at the Winchester Nursing Center for the compassionate care their mother received for the past few years.
