Obituary for William Joseph McGowan, Jr.
McGowan, William J., Jr., of Sunapee, NH formerly of Somerville, passed peacefully on July 31, 2019. Beloved husband of the late Dorothy (George). Loving father of William McGowan, III, Linda Phaneuf and her husband Robert and Brian McGowan and his wife Susan. Grandfather of Michael, and Brendan.
Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, Godchildren, relatives, and friends. Local Teamsters Member. Late Korean Conflict Army Veteran.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Saturday, September 21 at St. Clement Church, 70 Warner Street, Medford at 11AM. Visiting Hours will be held from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave, NORTH CAMBRIDGE, on Friday, September 20 from 5-8PM. Relatives and friends are kindly invited. Burial and Military Honors to conclude in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Arlington.
