Dad will be missed by all including a host of nieces and nephews along with their children.

Dad grew up in Arlington, graduating early from Arlington High School in 1945 to enter the U.S. Coast Guard till the end of World War 2. He came home and became a master carpenter building over 100 homes in Arlington and the surrounding communities. Dad was appointed to the Arlington Police Department as a police officer in 1953 and honorably served there for 33 years. Dad was a true adventurer. He was an accomplished private pilot and a seafaring skipper. He loved to fly and he was a true single handed sailor on his sailboat the Wild Rose. Towards the end of his life, Dad would often make the comment, “I did it all.“ That you did Dad, that you did.
