Obituary for Yong Soon Lee
Yong Soon Lee (aka Nancy Lee, Chung Yong Soon), of Lexington, MA passed away November 7, 2023, at the age of 91. Yong was born and raised in Seoul, Korea, She emigrated to the United States to attend school and be with her new husband, Chong W Lee. A graduate of Ewha University (Korea), Yong completed her Masters in Chemistry at Duquesne University.
After a long and varied career, Yong retired from Glaxo-Smith Kline Pharmaceuticals in Pennsylvania. She enjoyed time spent with her husband Chong and friends from her Gloria Dei Independent Living Residence in Hatboro, PA. She enjoyed growing orchids and playing pinochle. Yong was an elder in her church and enjoyed the fellowship of her church friends. In fall of 2022, Yong moved to Lexington, MA to be closer to family.
Yong is predeceased by her beloved husband, Chong Wan. Yong is survived by her daughters, Dawn Lee and Grace Lee and their respective partners Dustyn Bustos and Donal O'Mahony.
