Parish Renewal, St Joseph's 1974

Although we sat  a row apart each Sunday for Liturgy in the early 70's,   it wasn't until that special day in 1974  I rang your door bell because you were hosting one of the meetings  for our Parish Renewal. Our eyes met and you greeted  me with , "hello my friend."  That day was the beginning of a 40 year friendship I am most grateful for, my dear friend.  We have had conversations about life and life after this earthly stay and I  look forward to  our  friendship forever.  The memories have been numerous from our Thursday evening  prayer meetings at the convent , our monthly trips to Pine Street serving "all the guys" and our fun dinner  following.  Your  generosity in opening your home at Goose Rocks Beach fills my heart with such joy remembering the gathering with friends for fun, prayer, beach walking and wonderful meals.  The Whouley kids will always remember that period you helped me by arriving early in the morning at 15 Anis Rd to send the 4 of them off to school. There were times we laughed and times we cried  and through it all we supported each other. Thank you for the gift of you. Peace, Love and Joy
