McEniry, Catherine M., 94. Died July 22, 2014, in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Wife for 60 years of the late Murray W. McEniry. Mother of Philip L., David W., and Roger S. McEniry and Catherine E.M. Sullivan. Mother-in-law of Carolyn Acosta and David E. Sullivan and former mother-in-law of Courtney Johnson McEniry; she leaves also Roger’s partner Karen P. Riley. Grandmother of Tessa, Grace, Andrew and Eloise McEniry and of John, Thomas, and Peter Sullivan. Survived also by her nephew Mark Altherr and his wife Gloria and her niece Anne Templeton and her husband Peter. Great-aunt of Isabella, André, and Sofia Altherr and John and William Templeton. Daughter of the late John J. McPolan and Florence Maurer McPolan, sister of the late Virginia McPolan Altherr and John J. McPolan, Jr., sister-in-law of the late André Altherr, and aunt of the late Roland Altherr. Graduate of Barnard College, Class of 1939, and Columbia Law School, Class of 1942. Resident of Scarsdale, New York for more than 50 years; resident of Cambridge for the last 7½ years. Memorial private.
