Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of William A. BLANCO, William A., of Woburn, formerly of Arlington. August 22, 2014. Beloved son of Edna Blanco (Sferrazza) of Florida, and the late Salvatore Blanco. Loving father of William Blanco Jr. and Michelle Blanco, both of Florida. Cherished grandfather of Bella Blanco. Dear brother of Rosemarie Moda and her husband Tony of W. Boxford, Carol Kearney and her husband Bill of Arlington, brother of David Blanco and his wife Linda of Methuen, brother of the late Paul Blanco, brother of Suzanne Blanco of CA; and nephews Paul Kearney, David Blanco Jr., and nieces Pam Petzold and Julia Blanco. A Memorial Wake will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington, from 4-7 p.m., on Thursday, Aug. 28, with a Prayer Service to follow at 7pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in William’s memory may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 10 Speen Street,2nd Floor, Framingham, MA 01701.
