HURD, Mildred M. (Holmes), Of Arlington, peacefully, on December 21, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of the late John W. Hurd. Loving mother of Elliot J. “Sandy” Williams and his wife Ellen of Medford, Judith Williams Marchese and her husband Neal Lespasio of Burlington, Rosemary Thompson of Burlington, John Hurd and his wife Dale of Arlington, and the late David Williams. Dear sister of Edward “Buddy” Holmes of Stoneham and the late Dorothy Lee. Cherished grandmother of ten, and great grandmother of twenty-one. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Member of and Past President of Gold Star Mothers, proud member of Arlington Council on Aging, Past President Logan Post Auxiliary, Past President Auxiliary Elks of Arlington, 10 years Ombudsmen, and graduate of UMass. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Rt. 60 (adjacent to St. Agnes Church), ARLINGTON, on Wednesday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Saint Agnes Church, Arlington at 10am. Burial in Mt.
