I think most people that knew Gega would agree that he's one of a kind!
I'm so thankful for the many memories and special moments that we shared over the years. I always loved turning the corner onto Whittimore Ave and seeing Gega outside reading on the porch. From the mornings and afternoons that we spent together while I was in graduate school, to sharing his first visit to Paris since his time there during WWII, to coming upon him in the Tufts gym as he was on his 400th of 500 situps for the day, the stories I could tell are countless!
Gega's strength and determination, particularly at his age, were unmatched! As he might say, he was a real huminsum!
