Condolences

Condolence From: Lanette
Condolence: Dear Family,
You have my deepest sympathy for your loss. God will provide you with comfort during this grievous time and he promises a better future. Revelation 21:3,4 God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”

Condolence From: Neil Prescott
Condolence: Ken was a caring and fun person. My best friend and I became acquainted with him on visits to Key West. Many laughs were shared amongst us in paradise. You will be missed by many, Ken. Be at peace. Neil Prescott

Condolence From: Dennis Ramsier
Condolence: To Ken's family and friends I offer my condolences and deepest sympathy. My times with Ken were largely at Fritz Bar and Cathedral Station bar and in Key West... usually in mid-March so that we could celebrate his birthday there. In March of 2015 Ken had an issue with his sugar level and my partner and I stayed with him in the ER and brought him back to his favorite guesthouse: Equator. To all who knew Ken I offer a poem, the only published poem of Theodora Kroeber...
Poem for the Living

When I am dead,
Cry for me a little.
Think of me sometimes,
But not too much.
It is not good for you
Or your wife or your husband
Or your children
To allow your thoughts to dwell
Too long on the dead.
Think of me now and then
As I was in life
At some moment which
it is pleasant to recall,
But not for long.
Leave me in peace
As I shall leave you, too, in peace.
While you live,
Let your thoughts be with the living.

Condolence: My buddy Neil and I always enjoyed seeing Ken on our annual mecca to Key West each winter for several years running. We never really planned it that way, but always seemed to end up at our favorite inn the same week each winter. Ken was a lot of fun and a very caring guy. Since getting to know him over the past ten years, I've also had the privileged of getting to know many of his friends and family via Facebook and I know he was truly loved by all. He will be missed and both Neil and I send our deepest condolences to all his loved ones in Massachusetts.
