MELANSON, Gerald “Jerry” J. of Dracut, formerly of North Cambridge. April 15, 2014. Beloved husband of the late Laura M. (Melanson). Loving father of Janet Melanson of Cambridge, Linda Brannelly and her husband Matthew of Cambridge, and Gary Melanson and his wife Mina of Dracut. Cherished grandfather of Laurie, Brittany, and Alexandra. Devoted brother of Freddie Melanson of Sackville, New Brunswick and dear uncle of Shirley Ammison of Canada. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Tuesday at 9:00 am. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Cambridge at 11 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation Tuesday 9:00-10:30 am. Interment in Cambridge Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations in his memory may be made to the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
