John J. "Johnny"  Trainor Sr.
TRAINOR, John J. “Johnny”, Sr., of Medford. Passed away peacefully at home on April 24, 2016, surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of the late Joanne C. (Barry). Loving father of John Trainor Jr. and his wife Cheryl of Medford, Kelly Trainor and her partner Steven Forde of Brockton, and the late Michael Trainor. Devoted grandfather of John Joseph III, Nicole, Zachary, and Rowan. Devoted son of Rita Trainor of Arlington. Father in law of Laura Trainor of Gloucester. Dear brother of Patricia Curry and her husband Robert of Waltham, William Trainor and his wife Karen of Cambridge, and Edward Trainor and his late wife Margaret of Tewksbury. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Retired member of Installations for Asbestos Workers Local 6, Dorchester, MA. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt. 60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church) ARLINGTON on Wednesday at 10am. Funeral Mass at Saint Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford at 11am. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours Tuesday from 4-8 pm. Burial in Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in his memory to St. Raphael Church, 512 High Street, Medford, MA 02155.
