Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Calixte J. Janelle can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Condolence: I was deeply saddened by the news of Cal’s passing. My heartfelt condolences to you and your family. I still remember the homegrown tomatoes he brought to us when we just moved into our house. He is such a handy man and all the neighbors are impressed by the pretty bird houses he made and the nice yard he maintained. I am delighted to enjoy the beautiful scene of his backyard all the time. He is nice and warm-hearted and told us he named the trees on behalf of his grandchildren. I remember the smile on his face when my father-in-law chatted with him and Henrietta using body language in the backyard during those summer days. We will miss him.

Condolence From: Chris Sullivan
Condolence: Cal is one of those people who helped everyone around him see the joy in life. I was recently watching a video of Cal the day his first great grandchild was born. He came to the hospital and sat quietly in the corner just taking in the scene and occasionally reaching out to hold the tiny new born hand and comment on her strong grip. His smile was ever present (that day and every day that I recall) and he was the very picture of perfect great grandfather. He will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of his loved ones.
