Bom-Wrapper

The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Nathaniel Jean-Jacques can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

First Honorary Star

Nathaniel was  exceptional - in our After School Program we have a "rewards" program for great behavior called "Reach for the Stars". Nathaniel came up to me one day last year and said he planned on earning the most stars EVER and he did - Nathaniel earn the most star of anyone (even since last year ) of the most stars in the shortest period of time. It meant a lot to him to succeed and he was determined he earn them all through his efforts as well as show what he was capable of doing.

I worked with Nathaniel a lot  during the homework tutoring time at our program. Nathaniel loved to read and have stories read to him. So I read stories, and he also read to me. A special treat was ALWAYS sitting in my chair and I would test his spelling or math skills. With all the right answers Nathaniel would twirl my chair - he was so proud (and fun crazy). This was my special time that I got to know Nathaniel at his best and watch him start to "conquer homework"  as well as many other things for him fell into place!

I have great memories and had a lot of fun getting to know Nathaniel, he was a character in all the right ways, My reward was a daily High Five when we passed in the hallways. The decision to make Nathaniel  honorary "All Star" was because of his determination to do his best. As a result Nathaniel won our hearts. A great memory was when he returned from Chilly Cow with his peers and said it was the best ice cream ever!  The rewards was ours because Nathaniel deserved that day and gave us the best smile ever!
