NUTTALL, William J.
April 26, 2015, age 79, He was born in Milton, MA, June 12, 1935, son of the late Edmund I. and Alice C. (Murphy) Nuttall. He spent his early life in Hyde Park and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School class of 1953. After his discharge from the Army he worked for Hood and General Oil before joining the Arlington Police force in 1969. After retiring from the Police Dept. he worked for Saint Mary's of Winchester, Home Depot, and 128 Ford. He helped raise his children in Medford before retiring to Arkansas where he helped out at the Mary Mother of God Catholic Church and looked after many a stray cat and dog. He will be missed. He is survived by his son Robert P. (Bob) Nuttall and his wife Dawn Marie of Billerica, daughters Barbara Killeen and Maureen Hicks of Woburn, daughter Patricia (Trisha) Barry and her husband Greg of West Islip, NY, five grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and friends. He was also the husband of the late Mary Carol Nuttall, and the brother of the late Alice Chisholm and the late Edmund J. Nuttall. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours at the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Arlington, MA on Wednesday from 5-8 pm. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday at St. Raphael Church, High St., Medford at 10 am. Burial in Fox Hill Cemetery in Billerica.
