Dear Mrs. Chaput, Susie, Phillip, Tommy, Anne and John, I was so sorry to learn today from my folks that Mr. Chaput has passed, and I'm holding him and all of you in my heart today and always. He and you all were such a warm and welcoming family to me all those years ago when I all but moved into your house as a quiet 10 yr old when Susie and I were at Brackett. So many sleepovers, a wonderfully chaotic camping trip, a Cape Cod trip where your dad and I delivered your new springer spaniel puppy! So many memories that I'm certain I owe you all grocery money at least, as I was around so often!! Sending you all so very much love and gratitude this very hard week.
