Condolence: Dj was a dear friend of mine. The Conroy's have always been very nice to me and my family. I met Dj in Arlington Hockey in about 4th Grade (1998). I was close friends with Dj from then on and we had many times together. Dj was always welcome in my home and the Conroys would always feed me and made me feel like home when i was there. Through the many times Ive spent with Dj good and bad the one thing that I always admired about him was his value to loyalty and family. He even from a young age would look after Laura. He would always be the one to calculate the risks that our group of crazy kids would take . We looked up to Dj as our leader. He would always look out for our best. This loss is Heartbreaking and I wish the family the strength to carry on through this time. We as his friends will always carry on Djs legacy with us.

Condolence: Laura, in life DJ was a remarkable big brother. He loved you, respected you, guided you, protected you and always kept you close to his heart. For reasons we cannot yet understand, God has taken DJ from us. While DJ is now in Heaven, he will still love, respect, guide and protect you. He will always be your proud big brother.

Condolence: Laura and Susan,

My thoughts and prayers are with you and the rest of your family. It truly is a shocking and tragic loss. DJ was a close friend and I loved him very much. There are so many things that remind me of him every day, and I am so thankful that we crossed paths at UConn. I know he will be watching over all of us for the rest of our lives, and making sure that we are living it to the fullest.

Condolence: Not sure if you remember us but in elementary school our son Dylan and daughter Hayley were friends of DJ and Laura. Dylan had run into DJ from time to time since we moved away and they kept up on Facebook. We're so so sorry for this tragedy and we hold you all in our prayers. Our most sincere condolences and prayers that your loving memories will in time replace the pain you must be feeling.
