The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of James Alexander High can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Obituary for James Alexander High

James Alexander High
James Alexander High passed peacefully in his sleep on September 29, 2015. Our angel was born on May 22, 2015. He was the beloved son of Eric and Holly High, and much adored brother of Eleanor High. He was loved deeply by his entire family, and was the grandson of Cappie Bell and the late James Bell and Sam and Sherine High, nephew of Matt and Jenny Fridg, Jeb Bell, Heath and Rachel High, and cousin of Miriam, Anna, Simon Fridg and Elan High. In his short and happy time with us he brought a lifetime of joy and smiles that will last forever.

Friends and family will gather to honor James at Hope Fellowship Church in Cambridge, MA on Friday October 9, 2015 at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, his family has asked that friends and family please consider either donations to the American SIDS Institute: https://sids.org/ways-to-help/donate/ or contributions to an education fund for Ellie in memory of James, which will be his special gift to her. Details regarding contributions to the education fund will be provided here as soon as they are available.
