Genevieve E. (Stokes) Brown, of Arlington, died at the Lahey Clinic Medical Center in Burlington on Saturday, June 9, 2012. Born in Cambridge on May 16, 1924 to the late Thomas and Arcelia (Bolieau) Stokes, she was 88. Beloved wife of the late Bernard J. Brown. Loving mother of Ann McKechnie of Hughson, CA; Rev. John Brown of Glenmary Home Missioners; Christopher Brown & wife Lynne of Winchester; and Gregory Brown & wife Susan of Hilmar, CA. Sister of Mary Gaudet of Arlington and Clementine Madsen of Oceanside, NY. Grandmother of Jason, Elizabeth, Michael, Joshua, Emily, Melissa, Allison and Stephanie. Also survived by 6 great grandchildren. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut Street (Rte. 60, Adjacent to St. Agnes’ Church) ARLINGTON on Friday, June 15th at 10:00 AM, followed by her funeral Mass in St. Camillus Church, 1185 Concord Turnpike, Arlington at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude with burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 2:15 PM. Relatives and friends invited. Visiting hours at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 to :00 PM.
