Herbert was a member of the Boston DAV Post 10, Mount Auburn VFW Post 8818, as well as the North Cambridge VFW 7353. Herbert was a Cambridge Firefighter for thirty six years and also served as a Master Machinist for many years. Late Navy veteran of WWII. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Monday at 9 am. Funeral Mass in Saint John’s Church, Cambridge at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited.
