Condolences

Condolence From: Maureen Donlan Coen
Condolence: Dear Aunt Mary, Michael, Stephen, Mary Kate, Jimmy and Billy, I am so sad to hear of Uncle Jim's passing. We are so blessed with many, many memories of growing up in a big Irish family ...one in which Uncle Jim was the "singer" ! We kids loved that. My last memory of Uncle Jim is one that I will forever cherish...during Uncle Paul's funeral mass your Dad got up and left the pew. I thought perhaps he wasn't feeling well. A few minutes later, I hear this very familiar voice singing from the choir and yes, as we all now know, it was your Dad. Perfect !
My own father was very fond of his younger brother, James. To him, James was the smart one; the college boy who also happened to be a pretty good bowler and golfer.
To me, Uncle Jim was an uncle and my Godfather. He was a wonderful example of a Catholic boy who lived a faithful and faith filled life. Now I am sure that he is sitting comfortably with our Lord. Til we meet again, may God hold him in the palm of his hand, love, Maureen Donlan Coen

Condolence: To The Family, I want to express my deepest sympathy for your loss. I also want to share the comfort of John 5:28,29 where we are promised that those who have fallen asleep in death have the hope of receiving a "resurrection" back to life. Life on an earth restored to a beautiful paradise. Psalms 37:11 says, "The meek ones themselves will possess the earth, and they will indeed find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace." While we await that wonderful time please find comfort in these promises.

Condolence: Uncle Jim was a very fine man. A devout Roman Catholic who served his God and country
to the fullest extent. He was completely devoted to his family. Our condolences to
Mary and the family at this difficult time. The world is a better place for having had Jim in it. May God bless the Donlan family.
