To Jean's family, Please accept our condolences for your loss. I just learned the news of Jean's passing from the principal of Bigelow Cooperative Daycare Center, where I first met Jean. Jean loved her kids and had a special relationship with my son Ted, for whom she babysat for many years. Jean would never just sit around the house with Ted-she'd pack him up and off they'd go on little excursions around Cambridge, hopping on the bus or train, going out for lunch and ice cream. Ted always had an adventure with Jean! We had a wonderful reunion in 2008 when she came to Ted's high school graduation party and got to see her "Bigelow Boys" Ted and Evan. It was lovely to see her then. I thought she would live forever. God bless her memory.
