SCHEFFER, Joseph J. a long time Cambridge resident. Died peacefully on April 8, 2011. He was 86 years old. Born in Cambridge. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn Scheffer. He is survived by his grandsons, George D. Perry and Dr. Ronald D. Perry, his great grandchildren, Ross and Corinne Perry, his son and daughter in law, George W. and Dolores Perry, his son Joseph P. Scheffer and his daughter Janet Marie Scheffer. A funeral service will be held at the Keefe Funeral Home, 2175 Mass Ave., NORTH CAMBRIDGE on Tuesday at 11 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation Tuesday from 10-11 am. Interment Mount Auburn Cemetery. Late WW II Army Air Corp veteran.
