Obituary for Kathleen M. Kelley

Kathleen M. Kelley of Somerville, Massachusetts peacefully passed away on August 14, 2020.

Kathleen was a North Cambridge Catholic Graduate. Kathleen worked as a bridal seamstress and a law firm assistant in her early years before moving on to work for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts where she retired.

Kathleen is survived by her Daughter Darlene C Kelley, Granddaughter Casandra M. Kelley, Grandsons, Christopher W. Kelley, Timothy A. House and Jamison S. House. Great Grandmother to Cayden D. Julce and Ellie A. Rivera. She leaves behind many dear friends.

Kathleen’s spirit will continue to live through each one of us.

“Each moment I try to capture all of the love you bring along
Storybook feelings sent from above
My poetry, story and song.
You are our joy and laughter
Wrapped as a gift sent to us from heaven above”
With each Cardinal and Monarch that drifts by is your vibrant energy living through you; resurrected through freedom and peace.
Embrace watching from above all the children you have knitted or crocheted blankets for, each stitch harboring comforting love from your fingertips

Drift by Long Sands Beach, bask in the aroma of the Maine Shoreline
Frolic in the most beautiful poppy flower fields ever known
Kiss Mom, Dad, Brother and Sister for us.

Nana, you are peacefully transitioned to eternal life.

Just two weeks ago I Messaged her to say she was on my mind. Although I haven't seen her since Janet died, we always exchanged Christmas cards. I've know her since the late 1950s and enjoyed so many wonderful weekends at their cottage in York for so many years. My thoughts are with all her family.

My condolences to family. Sad news to read. I shall say a prayer when next on Long Sands Beach and remember many summers as a kid shared with Kathleen.
