Beloved wife of the late James J. Tobin, Arlington (formerly Somerville) and Richard J. Scannell, Arlington. Devoted mother of Daniel J. Tobin of Arlington, James F. Tobin and his wife Karen of Mendon, Mary E. Belben and her husband William of Belle Mead, NJ, and Margaret A. Finnegan and her husband John of Chatham, NJ. Loving grandmother of James Tobin, Elisabeth and Matthew Belben, and John, Patrick and Kevin Finnegan. Dear sister of William B. Linnane of North Carolina, Dorothy Driscoll of Belmont, Thomas Linnane of Brighton, and the late Mary Linskey of NJ, Emily Roache of West Roxbury, Eileen Phillips of Brighton, James Linnane of Needham, Robert Linnane of Marshfield, Martin of Brighton, Catherine, John, and “baby” Thomas of Allston. Also survived by several beloved nieces and nephews. Retired employee of the Town of Arlington Personnel Department, former employee of US Office of personnel Management. Margaret was a long time Arlington Town Meeting Member Precinct #7, member of the Arlington Historical Society, the Arlington Catholic Mothers Guild and AFSCME Local 680. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., (Rt.60, adjacent to St. Agnes Church) ARLINGTON on Monday at 9 am. Funeral Mass at Saint Agnes Church at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited.
