Marjorie A.  Whitney
WHITNEY, Marjorie “Margie”, 60, of Sanford Maine, lost her battle with cancer on April 2nd. Margie, formerly of Arlington, MA, was a very devoted wife to the late John T. Moquin, formerly of Cambridge, MA. Margie was the cherished daughter of Barbara Whitney (Sullivan) and the late Frederick “Buddy” Whitney. Margie is survived by her loving brother and sisters: Fred Whitney and his wife Lynn, Carol Whitney and her husband Lucky McGarry, Ann Whitney Barry and her husband Joe, all of Arlington; Ellen Whitney Sharpe and her husband Frank of Burlington, Jean Whitney Zilewicz and her husband Rick of Longmeadow. Devoted aunt of: Ryan Whitney of Groton, Kendra Bird of Chelmsford, Jason Zilewicz of Boston, Tanya Zilewicz of Longmeadow, Whitney Rose and Christopher Sharpe of Burlington, and Jonathan Barry of Somerville. Margie was looking forward to becoming a great-aunt to “Baby Bird” due in May. Margie will be missed by her “boys”, Clifford and Dapper. Dear friend of Carol, Hank and Roxanne Brackett, Jacqueline Moquin-Vaudo, and Sondra Papatsoris (Aiello). Margie was a highly regarded Business Analyst of 20 years for MCMC of Boston. She will truly be missed. A celebration of life ceremony will be held April 11th at 6:00 PM, Saint Malachy’s Church, 99 Bedford Street, Burlington, MA. A gathering to follow at the Newtowne Grille, 838 Boston Road, Billerica. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Mountain View Residential Care Activity Fund, 164 Hanson Ridge Road, Springvale ME 04083.
