I was sad to learn of my aunt's passing after the services were over as I would have definitely have been there. My grandmother lived downstairs from my family so Uncle Joe, Aunt Billie, and "Baby" came over often to visit her. And sometimes Billie's Mom came as well. My cousins and I loved our Aunt Billie and hope her family knows that. I called her last year on my uncle's birthday which is the day she died this year, ironically. I will miss her and hope her last days were peaceful and pain free.
