Lost a great friend

A friend and lighthouse lover. We visited many a lighthouse with Billy from New England to the Great Lakes. Stamp shows from Maine to Washington D.C. collecting those elusive stamps from around the World picturing stamps lighthouses on them. Competing with one another in auctions offering lighthouse books and postcards. My fondest memory will have to be our telephone conversation from Florida three weeks ago. Talking about what lighthouse material we had each managed to pick up over the Winter and planning our first get together when we arrived home later this month. Billy used to come to Wareham for dinner once a month when we would have our monthly show and tell of recently acquired lighthouse material. Martha used to alway say we were like two little boys on the play ground playing who could top who. I have lost a great friend but have thirty years of great memories that will help fill the void left by his passing.
