Condolence: My thoughts and prayers go out to Werner's family.
I had the pleasure of working with this electric and creative person while at Polaroid.
One vivid memory, among many others, was a meeting with Werner early one morning in my basement office at 549 Technology Square. We were working on writing a speech for Murray Swindell, the VP of Sales, and Werner was rolling and smoking cigarettes in my tiny office. Suddenly we heard a knock on the door, and Lucille DiBenedetto (my Assistant) announced that Werner's wife was about to give birth to their first child, Charlie. Werner shot out of that meeting to race to the hospital.
