Condolence From: Joanne Dowling
Condolence: All the members of the Conroy family have my deepest sympathy on Fr. Philip's passing. Our paths first crossed more than 40 years ago when he was assigned to St. Augustine Church. For the Dowling family, he will be remembered as the priest who faithfully brought communion to my bedridden father, and eventually said his funeral mass. Personally I will always remember his joy & enthusiasm. From delivering a Sunday sermon to dancing at a parish social, Fr. Philip had a joie de vivre that was infectious. The last time we met was a few months ago at mass at St. Elizabeth Church. I told him then that whenever I saw him, my day was brighter. My life was enriched for having known Fr. Philip. Wishing him eternal rest.
