My thoughts and prayers go out to you, Jackie and your family... Goodness, thinking of so many memories.. I met Carol in Grammar school at Emerson .. she and I and the girls on West Street played together for all those years.. we met up with you at Beebe Jr High and continued on, graduating together with the "memorable" Class of '55 from Malden High .. although we lost touch as the years went on ... my childhood years with Carol has always been a sweet, special memory... may your memories keep you and your family strong !!at this time !!

Jackie, as soon as I caught your Boston accent and realized who it was who was calling yesterday, I knew what you were going to tell me. Luckily I was turning into a parking lot and was able to park before we really started talking.
I’m glad you reminded me, as you have done before when we’ve talked, that I was the one who told you in the schoolyard at Beebe Jr. High that you had to go over and meet that good-looking Carol Tombion. Never knew about the Carmela though.
Savor the many good memories you have from the 61 married years and from the many years you were together before that. Carol was a wonderful person and you two shared many wonderful years and times together.
You are a rock, man. Now let your family and friends do some care-taking of you.
And remember, pal, I am always here for you.
