John F.  Parsons, Jr.
PARSONS, John F. Jr. 66 of Medford, formerly of Cambridge. January 25, 2014. Died peacefully at home in the company of Marina, his loving wife of 23 years. John was born in Cambridge, MA on March 8, 1947 to John and Helen (Mahoney) Parsons. He attended St. Mary of the Annunciation Elementary and High School, where he was a star 2nd baseman and pitcher. He then served two years in the US Navy followed by 20 years in the MA National Guard. He enjoyed a 40 year career with the US Postal Service. He enjoyed family and friends, attending to his gardens, and was a passionate fan of the Red Sox, Bruins, Patriots, and Boston College where his brother graduated from. He is survived by his wife Marina and her three children, Lisa Natale and her spouse Timothy Flaherty of Cambridge, Billy Natale and his wife Elisa of Medford, and Pasquale Natale and Angie of Orlando, FL. 5 grandchildren, Samantha, Pasquale, Timothy, Alec, and Isiah. His brother Timothy “Ted” Parsons and his wife Rosalie of Hilton Head, NC. Cousin of Robert and his wife Patricia, John and his wife Barbara, and Anne Donahue, 8 nieces and nephews, and 20 grandnieces and nephews. Funeral from the Keefe Funeral Home, 5 Chestnut St., Rt.60 (adjacent to St. Agnes Church) ARLINGTON on Saturday at 9 am. Funeral mass will be held at Saint Raphael Church, Medford at 10 am. Relatives and friends invited. Visitation Friday 4-8 pm. Burial is private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 30 Speen St., Framingham, MA 01701.
